I've purchased a Secret Labs chair and it was a solid and quality built chair. However I needed something that was more comfortable for extended sitting since I work from home too. So I use the Serta smart layers chair and it's amazing.what pc gaming chairs or office chairs are you people using. ill probably have to go try some out. mines getting a little to firm in the arse .
So, lately, I've been doing a lot of stuff on my PC with my Logitech G915 and the Logitech G900-whatever mouse that both outperform any other device in the wireless department that makes them great for PC gaming and work on a HTPC setup like what I'm rocking here. The only thing that's not quite "premium" about this arrangement...is my chair. It's comfortable to be sure, but there's times where I want to lean back like today due to me being tired and just wanting to get some shut eye without actually lying down and risk getting indigestion after eating/drinking something my stomach might have trouble with. And I'm trying to break free of the habit of drinking stuff like Mountain Dew to keep me awake on days where it's like I get some sleep, but not all of the sleep I need, you know?I picked up a pre-owned office chair in a liquidation sale some years ago, it was really cheap and I fully expected to be replacing it within a year or.
That was in 2014 and I still use it now.
It is surprisingly good, height adjustable arm rests that also twist, height adjustable seat (of course), recline feature, and 5-wheels underneath, with plenty of adjustment options. My chair is clearly an office chair, and I can sit in it for ages with no discomfort.
Gamers Nexus did a comparison video where they compare gaming chairs and office chairs, check it out to see what Steve (tech Jesus) said about them here:
Some of the premium makes have a buy to try period and you can return them if they are not to your liking, but these come at a high price, some cost as much as a gaming grade CPU but should be more comfortable to sit on then a CPU.Thing is, with chairs, you have to really sit in them and try them out to have an opinion of them. Not every chair is made for everyone, and when it comes to the DXRacer chairs (the ones with the head pillows on them), I just find myself wondering if they're all they're made out to be, as there's also the chairs made by Maxonomic. I'm sort of wondering if anyone has an opinion on these, and where the best place to be to try them out at.
I didn't have time to read the full review, so I skipped to the conclusion, and the first thing that stood out was:I tried a gaming chair, and I did a review on it. It's hard to explain in a forum post, so I'll just link it.
Now I am not only going to tell you why you're wrong, but also why I am wrong for the same reason. As a first time buyer of Gaming Chairs, I am sorely disappointed with the quality of Gaming Chairs.
Gaming chairs that are made for a fuller figured gamer do exist, SecretLab produce the Titan Evo in 3 sizes, as you can see in their FAQ on their website or in the spoiler here.its simple folks if you weigh 185 lbs a gaming chair may be great but if you wiegh more then that like i do gaing chairs will not work go get a nice office chair with thick bottom that will last.
