Not a big fan of MSI, but I haven't really heard any bad about them..

Comments from the hardware gurus here??

Not as big of a bump as I would have expected... Hmmmmm

Maybe once again, my expectations were too high.. :^/

Congrats on the new mobo and CPU, I hope you get all you want from it.

The performance differences are what I expected them to be, moving from a 9th gen to a 10th/11th gen is a small incremental upgrade, find what I posted about incremental upgrades in one of the replies I sent you back towards the start of your issues with your 4th gen system to see what I said them. In summary I said waiting for a few generations would yield greater results and that you should only make generational changes if there was an underlying issue that had to be resolved and moving forward was no more expensive than a like for like exchange, which is where you were, as memory serves.

The gaming results are good though, we don't live out life in benchmarks, they just help us check everything works ok, so enjoy pwning the carnage and get some more videos up.
